The Survivor Spirit
Live graphic recording and illustration documenting a dialogue with Indigenous leaders about the interconnected concepts of intergenerational trauma and intergenerational strength, and the shared challenges and experiences that connect Indigenous communities and newcomers. 
This work is featured in a short documentary filmed and edited by Kaan Eraslan for The Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies of British Columbia (AMSSA) in partnership with Indigenous leaders, Elder Glida Morgan, from Tla’amin Nation, Elder Mary Point, a member of the Musqueam Indian Band, and Norm Leech, from the T’it’q’et community of the St’at’imc nation.
